<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Sewer Utility is holding an interested parties meeting on Wednesday, April 11 from 5 to 6 p.m. at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, to discuss an upcoming sewer project located south of Highridge Drive and Ridgemont  Court.  </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Information and diagrams showing the proposed repair will be available for public review and City staff will be present to answer questions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of this meeting is to present the plan for the sewer main lining and manhole rehabilitation on the public sewer currently in rear yards along the property lines as shown in the attached map. The repair work is planned with a trenchless technique; however, the work requires medium-sized equipment to access the lines. In order to perform the work, removal of trees and brush along the sewer line is necessary.  The project is proposed to begin this summer and be completed in the fall.</span></p>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Once complete, the repaired sewer lines will remove the instances of inflow and infiltration of stormwater into the sewer system and reduce the occurrence of</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">sewer backups and wet-weather overflows.  </span><strong>                </strong></div>
