<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Dogs and their humans are invited to join Columbia Parks and Recreation for the third annual Yappy Hour. The event will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on April 21 at Twin Lakes Recreation Area, 2500 Chapel Hill Road.</p>
<p>Cost of early registration is $10, which includes admission for one person and one dog plus a goody bag with giveaways and one drink voucher. Pre-registration is encouraged; admission at the door will cost $5 per dog and $5 per person.</p>
<p>Yappy Hour will feature entertainment for dogs, including contests for the best dressed, best trick and best vocal performance. Fun for humans will feature entertainment, craft beer sampling and dog-related businesses on-site to display their products and services.</p>
<p>Parks and Recreation is coordinating the event in partnership with KPLA, KFRU, BXR, NASH FM, Craft Beer Cellar, Invisible Fence and Mizzou’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.</p>
<p>Yappy Hour is an adult event; only those 16 and over are allowed in the specified event area. Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and retractable leashes are not allowed. Minimum of one person per dog will be allowed. Trails, off-leash zones and the park will be open to the public.</p>
