<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Public Works will host an open-house style interested parties meeting on Wednesday, May 2, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. concerning the William Street Calming Project. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">William Street has been identified as a street with operating speeds higher than desirable</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">. The meeting will take place at City Hall, Room 1A, </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">701 E. Broadway.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of this public meeting is to review potential solutions for William Street from Broadway to Rollins Street. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Construction is currently planned for 2019 subject to the City’s public involvement process and City Council approval. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Public Works engineers will provide an overview of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program during the meeting and any answer questions. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The public is invited to help define and prioritize problems and identify desired outcomes. Information and diagrams showing some preliminary concepts will be available as well as a public comment form. Community feedback will be considered as the design is developed. </span></p>
