<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Columbia's Window Air Conditioner Exchange program begins May 1</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Income qualified Columbia Water & Light and Boone Electric customers can exchange their old, inefficient window air conditioners for free. Having a window air conditioner unit that is cheaper to operate allows the household to spend their money on the other necessities of life. The Window Air Conditioner Exchange program runs from May 1 through Aug. 30, while supplies last.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Electric customers should call before bringing in older units to confirm eligibility and availability. The program is administered through the Voluntary Action Center, 403A Vandiver Dr., and will be open for exchanges Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 1 through Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Below are the eligibility requirements for the Window Air Conditioner Exchange program: </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">  Be a current Columbia Water & Light electric or Boone Electric customer</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">  Have an older, less efficient and/or broken window unit to exchange</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">  Have an annual income of less than 200 percent of the poverty level*</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Interested residents must bring in the following items to participate:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">  Proof of current physical Boone County address (ID's or leases will not be accepted)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">  Identification for everyone at the address (originals, no copies)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">  Proof of all income for everyone at the address (including Food Stamps and TANF)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">  Current utility bill for the address</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">  An older, inefficient window air conditioner to exchange</span></li>
</ul>
