<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Salute to Veterans Celebration and Air Show scheduled for Memorial Day weekend at Columbia Regional Airport</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Columbia community will welcome residents and visitors to the annual Salute to Veterans Celebration and Air Show May 26 - 27 at Columbia Regional Airport (COU), 11300 S. Airport Drive. <br /><br />Due to construction, the field north of the airport normally used for public parking will be closed.  Parking at the airport will be extremely limited. Terminal parking at the airport will be closed to any persons attending the event and Airport Drive will be monitored to restrict traffic.<br /><br />Event-goers are encouraged to use the shuttles provided by the Salute to Veterans Corporation.  Shuttles provide a round-trip convenience for $5 per person. Shuttle pick up will begin at 8:30 a.m. both days at the University of Missouri AV14 (Trowbridge) Parking Lot (Ashland Road at East Campus Drive) and the Jefferson City Airport.  Event gates open at 9 a.m. Shuttles will run continuously
 
  both ways until the end of the Air Show. All passengers utilizing the shuttles will be dropped off and picked up at the event gate and returned to their point of origin. <br /><br />Guests are reminded there is no general seating provided and they may bring collapsible strollers and folding chairs. No coolers, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, pets (with the exception of service animals), alcohol or weapons will be allowed into the event. For a full list of allowed items and general event information, please visit <a href="http://www.salute.org">www.salute.org</a>.</div>
