<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">The City of Columbia’s Fourth of July Fire in the Sky celebration will once again be held in downtown Columbia as a free event including activities, entertainment and fireworks.</p>

<p>Fire in the Sky will begin at 6:30 p.m. on July 4. Activities will be held at Flat Branch Park, 101 S. Fourth St., and surrounding streets. The second location is new this year, the parking lot at Lucky’s Market, 111 S. Providence Road.</p>

<p>Fireworks will be shot off from the field south of Lucky’s parking lot at 9:15 p.m. and will be choreographed to music played on BXR 102.3.</p>

<p>Event-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. The Comancheros will perform at 6:30 p.m. followed by Violet and the Undercurrents at 7:45 p.m. at Flat Branch Park. J’Monet will perform at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Aina Cook Band at 7:45 p.m. at Lucky’s.</p>

<p>Children’s activities and crafts will be located at Flat Branch Park. Concessions will be available at both locations.   </p>

<p>The event is made possible by the generous sponsor donations from Columbia Insurance Group and KOMU 8 as presenting sponsors and also by the Cosmopolitan Luncheon Club, BXR 102.3, KFRU 1400 and Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau.</p>
