<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Columbia Fire Department is partnering with Columbia College to provide vertical ventilation and positive pressure ventilation training to Columbia Fire Department recruits.  Ventilation is a critical component to fire fighting that allows heat and smoke to travel out of a structure, improving the environment inside for both occupants and emergency crews.<br /><br />Columbia College is providing a building at 802 Pannell that will give fire department recruits an opportunity to train in a realistic environment.<br /><br />We invite all our media partners to view a portion of this training, take photographs and video and interview representatives from Columbia College and the Columbia Fire Department.<br /><br /><strong>When:</strong>  Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10:00am<br /><strong>Where:</strong> 802 Pannell  </div>
