<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Public Works will host an open-house style interested parties meeting concerning Walnut Street calming on Wednesday, Aug. 8. The meeting is scheduled to take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 1A of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of the meeting is to review potential solutions for traffic operating at higher than desirable speeds on Walnut between Old Highway 63 and College Avenue.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Information and diagrams showing some preliminary concepts will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. A public comment form will be
available and comments will be considered as the design is developed.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span></p></div>
