<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia City Manager Mike Matthes will deliver the annual budget message for fiscal year 2019 on Friday, July 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.<br /><br />Citizens are encouraged to attend and learn more about the proposed budget which will cover the time period of Oct. 1, 2018 through Sept. 30, 2019. <br /><br />Citizens will have the opportunity to make public comment at three City Council meetings before the budget is adopted:<br /><br />Monday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. (Public hearing)<br />Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. (Public hearing)<br />Monday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. (Public hearing and adoption)<br /><br />A Council budget work session will be held on Monday, Aug. 13 in the Council Chambers beginning at 9 a.m. and the public is encouraged to attend. <br /><br />The budget message, Council meetings and work session will all be broadcast live on Spectrum/Charte
 
 r channel 992, Mediacom channel 80, CenturyLink Prism TV channel 96 and streamed live on CoMo.gov: <a href="http://www.como.gov/council/citystream-meeting-video/" target="_blank">CoMo.gov/council/citystream-meeting-video</a>.<br /><br />Copies of the proposed budget will be available to view at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, in the Finance Department on the fifth floor or in the City Clerk's Office on the second floor. The proposed budget will also be posted on CoMo.gov.</div>
