<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - During the coming weeks, structural repairs will be made to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial at Battle Garden, 800 W. Stadium Blvd. Repairs to the sculpture include cleaning and reattaching several of the granite faces of the columns as well as replacing one of the column's capstones. The repairs are needed due to weathering of the elements over time.<br /><br />Battle Gardens will remain open during the repairs, and park visitors are asked to exercise caution around the memorial while work is being completed. <br /><br />For more information or to learn more about the public art sculpture, please contact the Office of Cultural Affairs. To learn more about the memorial at Battle Garden, please visit <a href="http://www.CoMo.gov/parksandrec/park/martin-luther-king-jr-memorial-battle-garden">CoMo.gov/parksandrec/park/martin-luther-king-jr-memorial-battle-garden</a>.</div>
