<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Columbia Police assist in apprehension of fugitive from Jefferson County Missouri</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - This morning, Columbia Police were contacted by the Jefferson County Missouri Sheriff's Department requesting assistance apprehending a fugitive known to be dangerous who was in the Columbia area. <br /><br />Ted Nathan Treece was under house arrest and wearing a tracking ankle bracelet. Treece was not allowed to leave Jefferson County. <br /><br />Treece was found to be in the area of Buttonwood and Gray Oak. When officers attempted to approach Treece, he fled in a vehicle. Because Treece was considered dangerous to the public, Columbia Police pursued Treece. Treece lost control and crashed his vehicle on I-70 near Lake of the Woods. <br /><br />Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies had arrived in Columbia, took custody of Treece and returned him to Jefferson County. <br /><br />Additional inquiries regarding Treece should be directed to the Jefferson County Missouri Sheriff
