<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Around 6 PM, Columbia police responded to a report of shots heard in the 2900 block of Leeway Dr. Investigation revealed a male had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital before officers arrived. It was later determined the victim has life threatening injuries. <br /><br />As of this release. Columbia police remain on the scene processing evidence. <br /><br />Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652, or call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</div>
