<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;">Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning a series of events, Neighborhood Park Block Parties / Fun </span><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Days, this fall. The first will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at Auburn Hills Park, 5101 Derby Ridge Drive. <br /><br /></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The events are designed to bring together the residents who live in the area of the parks and provide recreational opportunities. Those events that are designated as block parties will also feature a job fair and additional activities. Some of the events, such as the one planned at Auburn Hills Park, are located in the City’s Strategic Plan Neighborhoods.<br /> </span></p>

<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">At all the events, Parks and Recreation staff will join with area organizations to provide a variety of activities and games. The block parties and fun days are free and no registration is needed. Attendees should just bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket.<br /><br /> </span></p>
