<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Parks and Recreation is holding a public input meeting regarding improvements at Lions-Stephens Park, 104 N. William St. The drop-in meeting will be held at the park’s shelter from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18.</p>

<p>Proposed improvements to the park include the replacement of the existing shelter and playground, both of which are more than 20 years old. Other planned improvements are the installation of a new playground safety surface and miscellaneous park amenities such as bike racks and drinking fountains.</p>

<p>Staff will be available at the public input meeting with proposed plans and will answer questions and take comments.</p>

<p>The project investment is budgeted at $100,000, to be funded by the 2015 voter-approved Park Sales Tax.</p>
