<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Meter pit removal on Broadway will result in alley, sidewalk, parking closures Sept. 24-Oct. 5</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Beginning Monday Sept. 24, at 8 a.m., Q3 Contracting, a contractor for Ameren Missouri, plans to remove underground meter pits on East Broadway and put new services in Alley A. This will result in a closure of approximately 10 feet in Alley A, a series of sidewalk closures along the sound side of East Broadway between Ninth Street and 10th Street, and the closure of the sidewalk and three parking stalls on South Ninth Street between Broadway and Alley A on alternating sides of the street. Access to all businesses near the workzone will be maintained throughout the work.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /><br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The work associated with the Alley A closure is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 26. The work associated with the sidewalk and parking stall closures on South Ninth Street is scheduled to begin on Oct. 1 and be completed by Oct. 2. The work associated with the East Broadway sidewalk closures is scheduled to be begin on Oct. 1 and be completed by Oct. 5, weather permitting.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users will be detoured around the work zone. Pedestrians should exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrian traffic on South Ninth Street will be directed to the open sidewalk via signage.</span></p></div>
