<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Sept. 15 recap: Columbia Police arrest suspect in Best Buy bomb threat; four juveniles involved in a strong armed robbery</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police were called to 2001 W. Worley, Best Buy, at 5:05 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 in reference to a perceived bomb threat. The store had been evacuated just prior to officers arriving. Investigation by arriving officers showed an employee found a business card on the floor. On the card was a handwritten threat that an individual was wearing an explosive device.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Bomb Team and Canine officers were brought to the scene and swept the building. No device was found in the building or on employees.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As the investigation continued, video surveillance inside the store was used to observe an employee drop the business card with the note onto the floor.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police were notified of a strong armed robbery which occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 at or near the intersection of West Worley and West Boulevard. The victim told officers she was assaulted by four individuals and one of them had a handgun. The victim indicated on the scene they would seek medical attention for an injury to their wrist.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police officers were able to quickly identify four suspects who were taken into custody and charged with Robbery in the 1st degree. All four suspects are juveniles and no further information may be released concerning their arrests.</span></p>
