<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Public Works will host an open-house style interested parties meeting concerning traffic calming on Primrose Drive. The meeting will take place</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> on Oct. 2 from </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Valley View Community Church, 2900 Barberry Ave.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The goal of the project is to calm traffic on Primrose Drive between Stadium Boulevard and Sunflower Street. Primrose Drive is No. 4 on the 2017 Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Priority List.</span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of the meeting is to review potential solutions, define and prioritize problems and identify desired outcomes. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Information and diagrams showing preliminary design concepts will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. A public comment form will be available so resident input can be considered as the design is developed.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /><br />Construction is currently planned for 2019, subject to the City’s public involvement process and City Council approval. Additional information is located on the City's website at </span><a href="https://www.como.gov/publicworks/primrose-calming/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">CoMo.gov/PublicWorks//Primrose-calming</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p></div>
