<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police responded to Women’s and Children’s Hospital on Sept. 17, at approximately 7 p.m. in regards to a 4-year-old who was being treated for serious injuries.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police Criminal Investigations Division responded to assist the Patrol Division with the investigation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Forensic evidence technicians later assisted in collecting evidence at a residence in the Lakewood Apartments located at Old Highway 63 at Walnut Street.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a result of the investigation, Columbia Police arrested Tabitha L. Sallee, 27, of Columbia for Abuse or Neglect of a Child and Making a False Police Report. At the time of arrest, bond had not been set.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The investigation is ongoing. A photo of Sallee is attached to this release.</span></p>
