<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - On Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 at 10:28 AM, crews were dispatched to 4180 W. Bethany for a residential structure fire.  Crews arrived five minutes later and observed smoke coming from a residential structure.  Crews conducted an interior fire attack and had the fire under control in approximately 10 minutes.  <br /><br />No injuries were reported.  A domesticated rabbit was found deceased inside the structure.  A damage estimate is not yet available.<br /><br />The Columbia Fire Department Fire Marshal's Office conducted an on scene investigation and ruled the fire suspicious in nature.  The Columbia Police Department is currently assisting in the investigation.<br /><br />All further media inquiries should be directed to the Columbia Police PIO.<br /><br /></div>
