<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Tuesday, Oct. 9, two Williams Street intersections will be converted from two-way stops to all-way stops, weather permitting. The intersection of William Street and Anthony Street will be converted to a four-way stop. The T junction of William Street and Rollins Street will become a three-way stop. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">"The change to all-way stops at these locations is due to sight distance concerns," Traffic Engineering Specialist Taylor Shelton said. "The ultimate goal is improved safety." <br /><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">City of Columbia Public Works crews will perform the work, which should take approximately one day. No lane restrictions or traffic delays are anticipated. However, motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are asked to use caution in the workzone.<br /><br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The estimated investment cost of the conversion is $150.</span></p></div>
