<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">As part of the Central Neighborhood Water Main Replacement Project,</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> the City of Columbia Water & Light Utility will tie in the new water main along Switzler into the existing main at Garth.  Garth Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Allen Street and Pendleton Street beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2 and is anticipated to reopen by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3., weather permitting.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The proposed work will </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">upgrade existing infrastructure, increase fire protection and provide more reliable water service for the area.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">  </span></p>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should use caution.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">  </span></div>
