<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">City's annual citizen survey to be arriving at homes soon</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia’s annual citizen survey will be mailed and should be delivered the week of Nov. 12 to a random sample of households in the community to ask for feedback on a wide range of City of Columbia services and issues. To make sure that the City’s priorities are in step with the needs of Columbia residents, every response counts<br /><br />The return address on the envelope will be that of ETC Institute, the consultant that has conducted Columbia’s citizen surveys since 2003.<br /><br />The surveys will include postage-paid return envelopes, and individual responses will remain confidential. To encourage community participation, ETC Institute will make reminder calls a few days after the surveys are mailed. Citizens can respond to the survey during that call, if they wish, or they may complete the survey online at <a href="http://www.ColumbiaGov.org">ColumbiaGov.org</a
 
 >.<br /><br />To reach the survey using the City’s website, users should visit <a href="http://www.CoMo.gov">CoMo.gov</a> and click on either the survey scrolling message at the top of the page or on the "New and Featured" tab in the center of the page.<br /><br />Anyone may take the online survey and, to assure statistical integrity, responses from the random sample households will be counted separately from other responses.<br /><br />Every citizen who responds to the community survey helps move Columbia forward. Some of the responses provide a report card on City services such as public safety, utilities and other day-to-day operations. Other responses reflect the public’s priorities for the future.<br /><br />The survey period will end in December. ETC Institute will share the results with the City Council in a public session next year.</div>
