<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">2018-2019 City of Columbia Citizen Handbook mailed to residents this week</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The annual City of Columbia Citizen Handbook will arrive in mailboxes this week. This is the fourth year the Handbook will reach every mailbox in Columbia.<br /><br />The 2018-2019 Citizen Handbook highlights each Ward, which gives residents the opportunity to learn something new about their Ward or other Wards in the city. Additionally, it visually depicts how Columbia compares to other cities in terms of sales and property tax rates and gives a breakdown of the fiscal year 2019 budget.<br /><br />Works from local artists are featured throughout the Handbook, including submissions from the 2017 City of Columbia Commemorative Poster competition. The cover features the 2017 Commemorative Poster winner: The Champion by Svetlana Grobman.<br /><br />Approximately 71,000 copies of the Handbook were printed and the cost to print and mail the Handbook is 86 cents per copy, which is a cost saving&nbsp
 
 ;from 91 cents per copy last year. The Handbook serves as an important vehicle for the City to showcase the many things happening in the community. <br /> <br />The Handbook can be viewed online at <a href="https://www.como.gov/community-relations/city-information/citizen-handbook/" target="_blank">CoMo.gov/Community-Relations/City-Information/Citizen-Handbook</a>, and copies will be available in the City Hall lobby, at the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau and other places around Columbia.</div>
