<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Crisis Negotiation Team, SWAT respond to barricaded suspect involved in domestic disturbance in 5300 block of Godus Circle on Nov. 22</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 5300 block of Godus Circle on Thursday, Nov. 22 at 12:30 p.m.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When officers arrived they found an injured female outside the residence and the suspect had barricaded himself inside the residence. The female was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that were sustained during the incident. Officers made several attempts to get the suspect to comply with directives to exit the residence. After many attempts with no results, the Crisis Negotiation Team and SWAT were activated due to the nature of the call and the possibility of weapons being inside the residence. </span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">After the Crisis Negotiation Team and SWAT arrived several more attempts were made to get the suspect to comply and exit the residence. After exhausting all other methods, the SWAT team breached the door to the residence, but did not make entrance. It was at this time that the suspect surrendered. The suspect has been identified at Jaque Deron Cox, 29, of Columbia, and has been charged with the domestic assault from today, along with being booked for two outstanding felony warrants; one for assault and the other for possession. </span></p>
