<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Columbia Police make arrest for shots fired overnight</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police responded to a call of shots fired inside Steak ‘n Shake restaurant, 1912  W. Worley St., at approximately 12:50 a.m. on Dec. 9. Officers found evidence of one shot having been fired into the ceiling. The suspect had already left the area prior to their arrival.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There were no injuries and only minor property damage.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the investigation Columbia Police were able to identify a suspect, Reiss Alan Favinger, 19, of Columbia. The investigation revealed that Favinger was a Steak ‘n Shake employee who was upset due to pending employment issues.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Police immediately began searching the area and utilized a K-9 officer to assist. After a short search, Favinger was located approximately one block away.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Favinger was charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Armed Criminal Action, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest. The firearm was recovered on his person when he was arrested.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Favinger was processed and remanded to the custody of the Boone County Jail.</span></p>
