<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">UPDATE: Shooting victim in 100 block of West Worley Street on Dec. 19 dies as result of injuries</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police responded to a report of shots heard on Dec. 19 at approximately 3:10 p.m. in the 100 block of West Worley Street. During the investigation evidence was found, along with a victim, Chase Hayes, with a gunshot wound.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Emergency medical aid was rendered on the scene and at a local hospital, however</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">, Hayes, 30, of Columbia died as a result of his injuries on Dec. 19. Next of kin has been notified.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or Crimestoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</span></p>
