<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Parks and Recreation is holding a public input meeting regarding the construction of new tennis courts, lake trail improvements and natural resource improvements at A. Perry Philips Park, 5050 Bristol Lake Parkway. The drop-in meeting will be held at the Boone County History & Culture Center, 3801 Ponderosa St., from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10.</p>

<p>Improvements include the first phase of construction of a tennis court complex with two new courts and a 30-car parking lot.</p>

<p>Other park improvements planned are the construction of a footbridge over the existing low water crossing on the lake trail, new signage, tree plantings and landscaping improvements at parking areas.</p>

<p>Staff will be available at the public input meeting to share preliminary designs, answer questions and take comments.</p>

<p>Funding for the tennis court construction and other park improvements will be provided by the 2015 voter-approved Park Sales Tax.</p>
