<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police responded to MidAmerican Title Loans, 1102 Business Loop 70 E., for a reported armed robbery in progress with shots fired at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to witness statements and evidence collected at the scene, there was one shot fired inside the business. The gunshot caused minor property damage but no injuries were reported.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The suspect was described as a </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">black male, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a thin dark colored winter coat and armed with a handgun. He left with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen traveling southwest on foot.</span></p>
