<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Parks and Recreation will hold the 47th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Candlelight Walk and Memorial Celebration on Monday, Jan. 21.</p>
<p> <br /><br /></p>
<p>The candlelight walk will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Armory Sports Center, 701 E. Ash. The walk will proceed to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 204 E. Ash St., for the memorial celebration at 7 p.m. Participants will celebrate and reflect on the life and contributions of Dr. King. The program’s theme will be "What would Dr. King think of the MeToo Movement?"  </p>

<p>The walk and memorial are co-sponsored by the MLK Commission. Both are free and open to the public. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 573.874.7460.</p></div>
