<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:145%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Interested parties meeting for the Third Avenue Alley Restoration project scheduled for Feb. 21</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning the Third Avenue Alley Restoration project. This public interested parties meeting will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Centro Latino, 609 N. Garth Ave.</span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of this meeting is to present preliminary design concepts for restoring the alley that provides access to homes on Third Avenue. The project includes constructing a 10-foot-wide asphalt pavement within the alley right-of-way of Third Avenue (between Garth and Grand avenues). </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">City engineers will be available to answer questions and listen to public input. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Construction is currently planned for summer 2019, following the City’s public involvement process.</span></p>
