<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 1 - 2005 Chrysler Crossfire</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 2 - 2013 Honda Fit<br /><br /></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1 - Lukas E. Evans, 20, Columbia, Missouri, Seat belt - Yes, Minor injuries</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 2 - Jordan E. Hoyt, 37, Columbia, Missouri, Seat belt - Yes, Fatal injuries</span></p>
<p><strong>Incident Details:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Vehicle 1 was involved in a crash at Stadium Boulevard and West Boulevard South. Vehicle 1 left the scene and continued traveling north on West Boulevard South where it became involved in a second crash on West Boulevard South near Prospect Street. Vehicle 1 collided with Vehicle 2 which was traveling south on West Boulevard South. Vehicle 1 crossed from the northbound lane into the southbound lanes while attempting to pass another vehicle in a no passing zone. Vehicle 1 and Vehicle 2 collided head-on. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital, where Driver 2 was pronounced dead.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Next of kin has been notified.</span></p>
