<p><strong>Synopsis:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 1 was traveling west on Route WW before the Hominy Creek Bridge. Vehicle 2 was traveling east on Route WW after Hominy Creek Bridge. Vehicle 3 was traveling west directly behind vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 crossed the centerline into the eastbound lanes. Vehicle 1 and vehicle 2 collided head-on. After the initial impact, vehicle 1 was struck by vehicle 3. Driver 1 and 2 were transported to the hospital, where driver 2 was pronounced dead. Drugs and alcohol are not considered a factor in the crash. Icy roadway conditions are believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. Next of kin has been notified.</span></p>
