<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police took Lukas E. Evans, 20, of Columbia into custody on Sunday, Feb. 24 on charges of Murder in the 2nd Degree and Leaving Scene Of Accident - Property Damage Exceeding $1,000.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The arrest was in relation to a head-on vehicle collision between Evans and Jordan E. Hoyt, 37, Columbia on Saturday, Feb. 16. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital where Hoyt was later pronounced dead as a result of her injuries.</span></p>
