<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Scott Boulevard and West Southview Drive for a report of a head-on motor vehicle crash with serious injuries. The roadway was closed for several hours.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Location:  Scott Boulevard/West Southview Drive</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /><br /></span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1: David Earls, 33, Columbia, Missouri, no seatbelt, serious injuries</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vehicle 2: 2010 Toyota 4-Runner</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 2: Christine Deleiko, 32, Eureka, Missouri, seatbelt, minor injuries</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Passenger 1: Laura Brand, 29, Wildwood, Missouri, seatbelt, minor injuries</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Passenger 2: Jason Deleiko, 41, Eureka, Missouri, seatbelt, minor injuries</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Passenger 3: Juvenile, 12, Eureka, Missouri, seatbelt, minor injuries</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Synopsis: The crash occurred when Vehicle 1 was driving northbound on Scott Boulevard near West Southview Drive in the southbound lane and Vehicle 2 was driving southbound on Scott Boulevard in the southbound lane. Vehicle 2 attempted to avoid Vehicle 1 by changing into the northbound lane, but Vehicle 1 also changed into the northbound lane. Vehicle 1 collided with the front of Vehicle 2. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. </span></p>
