<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>CORRECTION:</strong> The original press release stated the wrong location. The correct location is Benton STEM Elementary School, 1410 Hinkson Ave.<br /><br /><strong>Interested parties meeting for William Street calming project scheduled for May 2</strong><br /><br />The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled a second informal open house meeting concerning the William Street Calming Project. This interested parties meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 2 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium at Benton STEM Elementary School, 1410 Hinkson Ave.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The meeting is part of the City of Columbia's public involvement process. The purpose of the meeting is to present information and diagrams showing preliminary design concepts and to gather community input concerning the use of</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> traffic calming devices to lower operating speeds on William Street from Broadway to Rollins Street.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Comment forms will be available to collect feedback, and City engineering staff will be on hand to answer questions.</span></p>
