<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia, Boone County and the University of Missouri will hold their annual tire, electronic waste and household hazardous waste (HHW) collection event Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the University of Missouri Hearnes Center, 600 E. Stadium Blvd., in parking lot SG4/AN. Residents should enter via Providence Road onto Mick Deaver Drive, south of the football stadium.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Households and farms from Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Osage Counties may participate.</span></p>
<p><strong>Tire Fees (with or without rim) </strong></p>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>$2</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> per car tire (24" or smaller).</span></div>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>$10</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> per truck or tractor tire (over 24").</span></div>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">There will be a charge on every tire; cash or checks will be accepted.</span></div>
<p><strong>Electronic Waste Fees </strong></p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>$10</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> for each CRT Monitor/TV, console, DLP and rear projection TV.</span></p>
<p><strong>No charge</strong></p>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Appliances, light bulbs and electronics - cord and battery operated items will be accepted.</span></div>

<p><strong>No early drop off and no business drop off.</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">This project is funded in part by a grant from the Mid-Missouri Solid Waste Management District and approved by the Department of Natural Resources. Partners include the University of Missouri, the City of Columbia, Boone County, Midwest Recycling, Clean Harbors, Inc. and ABC Tire, LLC.</span></p>
<p><strong>The City of Columbia's regular HHW collection facility will be closed this day in order to prioritize residential collection.</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Please be patient as this event normally experiences high traffic volume.</span></p></div>
