<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">The City of Columbia’s Fourth of July Fire in the Sky celebration will return to downtown Columbia, offering free activities, entertainment and fireworks.</p>

<p>Fire in the Sky will begin July 4 at 6:30 p.m. Activities will be held at Flat Branch Park, 101 S. Fourth St., and surrounding streets. The second location is the parking lot at Lucky’s Market, 111 S. Providence Road.</p>

<p>Fireworks will be shot from the field south of Lucky’s parking lot at 9:15 p.m. and will be choreographed to music played on BXR 102.3.</p>

<p>Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. The Kansas City Street Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Banastre Tarleton Band at 7:45 p.m. at Flat Branch Park. The Boone Howlers will perform at 6:30 p.m. followed by Burnin’ Down the House at 7:45 p.m. at Lucky’s.</p>

<p>Children’s activities and crafts will be located at Flat Branch Park. Concessions will be available at both locations.   </p>

<p>The event is made possible by the generous sponsor donations from Columbia Insurance Group and KOMU 8 as presenting sponsors and also by the Cosmopolitan Luncheon Club, Lucky’s Market, BXR 102.3, KFRU 1400, First State Community Bank, and Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau.</p>
