<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />Columbia Police arrested Victor Hugo Mendoza, 35, of Columbia on charges of two counts of Burglary 1st Degree, two counts of Sexual Misconduct 1st Degree, Assault 4th Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The arrest was in relation to Mendoza entering two different homes early morning hours on Saturday, May 18. He was found naked in the bedroom by the residents after they woke up. Thanks to the effort and vigilance of many, Mendoza was taken into custody less than 12 hours after the press conference on Sunday afternoon.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">"I want to thank our media partners, Boone County Joint Communications, the courageous members of our community who came forward to help identify the suspect, and our police officers who worked together across shifts and divisions to bring resolution," Jones said. </span></p>
