<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">The next concert in the Stephens Lake Amphitheater Concert Series is scheduled for Thursday, June 6. The Missouri Symphony Society will perform "Strike Up the Band" at 7 p.m., kicking off the Symphony’s Hot Summer Nights concert series. The Amphitheater is located on the northwest side of Stephens Lake Park, 100 Old 63 N.</p>

<p>The concert is free of charge and is co-sponsored by the City of Columbia’s Office of Cultural Affairs and the Missouri Arts Council. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. RJ’s Real Italian Ice will be selling treats at the concert.</p>

<p>The Amphitheater Concert Series features free performances from May through September.  </p>

<p>Upcoming concerts, performances begin at 7 p.m.:</p>
<p>June 27 - 135^th Army Band "Aftershock"</p>
<p>July 11 - The Community Band</p>
<p>Aug. 1 - To be announced</p>
<p>Sept. 5 - BXR Teen Band Showcase with Darkroom Records</p>
