<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Tuesday, June 4, at approximately 8 p.m., a Columbia Police officer was involved in a motor vehicle crash with a motorcycle on Brown Station Road near the intersection of Leeway Drive.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The officer was driving a marked police vehicle northbound on Brown Station Road, which has a double yellow centerline paint stripe to mark the lanes. The motorcycle was traveling southbound in the northbound lane and collided with the police vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical care. The officer sustained minor injuries.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Additional details will be released when the official crash report is complete.</span></p>
