<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Columbia Police investigate homicide in the 1500 block of Tupelo Place on June 26</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police officers were dispatched to a report of a verbal disturbance June 26 at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Tupelo Place. While officers were en route, dispatch received a separate call to report gunshots heard in the same area. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers arrived on scene and found a male with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel on scene. The victim has been identified as David Lee Morgan, 40, of Columbia. Next of kin has been notified. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police Department detectives and the Forensic Evidence Unit were called to the incident location to gather information and process the crime scene for evidence. There is no suspect information to release at this time. The investigation is ongoing. </span></p>
