<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Beginning </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monday, July 8 at 7 a.m.,</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Curtiss-Manes-Shulte, Inc., contractor for Columbia Public Schools, plans to begin removing and replacing the retaining wall on the west side of Locust Street Elementary School</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> This will result in a closure of the sidewalk and parking lane on the east side of  Waugh Street between Paquin Street and Locust Street. The work associated with the closure is currently authorized for 30 days but would continue through Oct. 8, pending City Council approval.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the west side of Waugh Street.</span></p></div>
