<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Columbia community is invited to a public reception Wednesday, July 10, to meet the two finalists for the city manager position, John Glascock and James "Jim" Palenick.<br /><br />The public reception will be held at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, beginning at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers where the candidates will introduce themselves and will be asked a few questions by the hired search firm, CPS HR Consulting. The public will then be invited to Conference Rooms 1A/1B for a meet and greet with the candidates until 8 p.m. The finalist introductions and answers in Council Chambers will be broadcast live on <a href="http://www.como.gov">CoMo.gov</a> as well as Mediacom 80, Charter Communications 992 and CenturyLink 96.<br /><br />The consultants will provide feedback forms for those attending. <br /><br />Members of the media are welcome to attend the public reception. <br /><br />
