<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia City Manager John Glascock will deliver the annual budget message for fiscal year 2020 on Friday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about the proposed budget which will cover the time period of Oct. 1, 2019, through Sept. 30, 2020.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Community members will have the opportunity to make public comment at three City Council meetings before the budget is adopted:</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. (Public hearing)</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. (Public hearing) </span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meeting on Tuesday due to the Labor Day Holiday</span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. (Public hearing and adoption)</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">A Council work session will be held Monday, Aug. 26 in the Council Chambers beg
inning at 9 a.m. and the public is encouraged to attend. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The budget message, Council meetings and the work session will all be broadcast live on Spectrum/Charter channel 992, Mediacom channel 80, CenturyLink Prism TV channel 96 and streamed live on CoMo.gov: CoMo.gov/Council/CityStream-Meeting-Video.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Copies of the proposed budget will be available beginning Friday, July 26 after 11 a.m. to view at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, in the Finance Department on the fifth floor or in the City Clerk's Office on the second floor. The proposed budget will also be posted on CoMo.gov.</span></p></div>
