<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Street Division is scheduled to begin mill and overlay operations on the following streets, in tentative order, Aug. 26-30, weather permitting :</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Streets will remain open to traffic during paving operations and flaggers will assist vehicles through the work zone. Minor delays are expected. Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are asked to exercise extreme caution in the work zones and to use alternate routes if possible.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mill and overlay involves milling off the top of the pavement surface and then applying a layer of asphalt back to create a smooth driving surface. The goal is to extend the life of the roadway.
