<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Traffic Alert: Intermittent power outages possible for two downtown Columbia traffic signals on 10th Street at Walnut, Broadway</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Due to a vehicle collision with the electric meter service connection for two downtown Columbia traffic signals on </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">10th Street, these signals </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">may experience intermittent power outages this afternoon and possibly overnight. The signals are located at the intersection of 10th and </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Walnut Street and at the intersection of 10th and Broadway. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">If restoring power is going to be delayed overnight, or for an extended period of time, temporary stop signs will be put in place.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">An electrical contractor is working on restoring the electric to the signals as soon as possible. Street Division staff are on site.  </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The correct procedure for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians encountering signals that are out is to treat the location as an all-way stop. All users should be vigilant as some users may not recognize correct rules of the road for signals experiencing a power outage. Avoid the area if possible.</span></p></div>
