<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia police arrest two suspects in relation to burglary of Tiger Pawn on Sept. 16</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Police Department investigated a reported burglary at Tiger Pawn, 1209 E. Business Loop 70, on Monday, Sept. 16. The investigation found that 66 guns were stolen. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The investigation resulted in multiple search warrants and probable cause for the arrest of two suspects. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tyler Andrew Hilderman, 26, of Hallsville and Alexander Michael Mears, 20, of Columbia were taken into custody.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The search warrants and arrests resulted in the recovery of multiple stolen firearms from the Tiger Pawn burglary.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">"Our officers and detectives are committed to reducing violence and solving crime. This investigation resulted in the recovery of several firearms that could not be possessed or transferred legally because they were stolen," Columbia Police Chief Geoff Jones said. "The efforts of officers and detectives reduced the availability of illegal firearms for those who intend to do harm. I am thankful for their hard work and dedication to our community's safety." </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Police Department would like to thank </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF); Boonville Police Department; Jefferson City Police Department; and the Boone County Sheriff's Department for their assistance in this case.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Police Department and ATF are actively working on leads to recover more stolen firearms from this burglary. This case is still under investigation, so there is no further information to release at this time. </span></p>
