<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning the Holly Avenue Traffic Calming project. This public interested parties meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Oakland Middle School, </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">3405 Oakland Place</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of this meeting is to present design concepts for using traffic calming devices to lower operating speeds on Holly Avenue from Parker Street to Oakland Gravel Road. Holly Avenue ranked seventh on the 2018 Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Priority List. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">City engineers will be available to answer questions and listen to public input. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Construction is currently planned for 2020 following the City’s public involvement process.</span></p>
