<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia’s Water & Light Advisory Board is holding a public information and input meeting for residents on Monday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.  The public is invited to attend this special evening Water & Light Advisory Board meeting to learn about new initiatives, upcoming capital projects, and provide feedback to City staff and board members.<br /><br />City staff will provide presentations on the recently launched utility bill customer portal, rebate programs to encourage electric and water conservation, and upcoming capital projects funded by Proposition 1 passed by voters in August 2018.  An update will also be shared from the City’s Integrated Electric Planning Task Force. <br /><br />"As a publicly owned utility, we want our residents
 
  to know that this is their utility and that the Board is here to represent them," Chair Jay Hashheider said. "We’ve scheduled this special evening meeting to ensure we give our customers the opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas, and input regarding our water and electric utilities."<br /><br />Staff and members of the Water & Light Advisory Board will answer questions and take comments on each topic presented at the meeting.</span></p></div>
