<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating evidence related to missing person Mengqi Ji Elledge.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mengqi is a Chinese female with brown eyes and black shoulder-length hair that she typically wears in a bun. She is approximately 5'1"- 5'3" and weighs approximately 105 pounds. She has both ears pierced but typically does not wear earrings. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Detectives have also determined that Mengqi may have had a purse with her when she disappeared. A photo of the purse has been attached.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">CPD asks that hunters participating in the upcoming deer season, opening Saturday, Nov. 16, remain vigilant while out in the rural parts of Boone County and the surrounding areas. If they see or find anything suspicious, they should contact authorities immediately.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Landowners are also being asked to check hunting cameras during the dates of Oct. 8 to Oct. 11 for any signs of unusual activity. If anything is found to be out of the ordinary, please reach out and report it to CPD. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">CPD is continuing to actively investigate the disappearance of Mengqi, so there is no further information to share at this time in order to protect the integrity of the investigation. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anyone with any information or evidence regarding Mengqi should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Crimestoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</span></p>
